The Puget Sound Convergence Zone affects your business.
What is that all about? What does the weather have to do with my business? What, is she crazy? If it does, how can I use it to my advantage? You may well be asking these questions right now.
What is it?
As those of you who live in the Seattle area know the Puget Sound Convergence Zone can play havoc with the weather patterns. “For those of you who don’t live here this is what it is all about…“the winds in the upper atmosphere are split by the Olympic Mountains. The winds then converge beyond the mountains, producing convection uplift that results in the development of clouds and even stormy weather.” (Wikipedia)
Geographic features affect the energy flow
As we learn from the convergence zone, geographical features affect the flow of energy. This leaves some areas with little energy and some areas with too much energy. Neither situation is optimal. Not all situations are as dramatic. In a smaller area something as seemingly insignificant as a wall, tree, piece of furniture or door, can and does affect the energy flow.
So the question is what has that to do with my business?
The convergence zone is a visible example of how energy works. In Feng Shui we work with energies every day. Knowing what kind of energy is present, how it functions, how it affects buildings and people, and how it can be manipulated to your advantage is what we do.
Why is energy important?
What is energy and why is it important? Energy is like food. Without it we starve. With poor quality food we are unhealthy. Lack of the proper type of energy leads to poor thinking and decision making, reduced business opportunities, cash flow problems, health concerns, issues with relationships both business and personal. The goal of Feng Shui is to balance the flow of energy/food so that you and your business can function up to potential.
